What's with all the HTTP errors?

Hi All,

First time poster and hoping someone can help me to find out why there are so many HTTP Error 503 Service unavailable errors on My Family Tree?? 503 errors are server side so I know its not my browser, internet connection, PC etc and I'm assuming its affecting everyone else as well, can anyone confirm this?

I only purchased my subscription a week ago and the amount of these 503 errors I have had has been unbelievable - almost to the point of being an unusable service!! :-(

Is this something that happens regularly or is it just temporary?

You need to contact admin, they should be able to help, though this site has had those problems in the past I have not experienced them, but it does seem others are at the moment.

I do know of at least 1 old member who is unable to view this site at all as it sets off her unsafe site alarm.

It has happened to me 3 or 4 times over the last 6 days.

I've reported it but you get a standard reply.

Thanks for the quick responses, I have contacted the support team to see if they can resolve the issue.

I'm really surprised that a paid for subscription site like this has had so many outages in such a short period of time.
