Brenda. I went to bed early and missed all the lighthearted stuff.

It was quite unlighthearted earlier in the evening. Wonder why :-S :-S

Well you all had a good old chat when I was tucked up in bed......glad to say it was much more lighthearted.
Keep it going I look forward to looking in when I get up ...thank goodness it's dr*** free at last!

Been listening to that David Cameron sppech this morning. Not one mention of Archd......

All depends on whether he gets elected at next election. He won't, of course. Well, my money is on Alex Salmond sweeping in across Scotland and England - and probably Wales if he attends Eisteddfod at Denbigh in August and says a few gracious words in Gaelic about his skian dhu. ;-)

You may well have been taking the P out of Liverpool....I was just saying that was the only place north of Watford that I have been to, so could not comment on the others....Have travelled all over the world though

maggiewinchester Report 23 Jan 2013 00:07

Arthur Pendragon, somewhere in here, at the Mayan end of the world (which fell on the Winter Solstice)

JustJohn Report 23 Jan 2013 00:04

Jax. I was taking the p out of Liverool a bit in my post, but I too like it. I particularly like the Ferry on a sunny, windy day. And those lovely old buildings (Liver, Cunard) :-D

Sandie :-D :-D :-D You may say that, I could not possibly comment ;-)

Mr Daff, whenever, wherever, my sister and I have travelled together (we like camping) assumptions have been made about us being 'sisters' :-S
Must be something about two women of a 'certain age' camping together

Yes, we reply - we are sisters - same mother type sisters :-D

jax Report 22 Jan 2013 23:50

Not being as well travelled around the UK as John I cannot comment on many places.
I ventured up north for the first time in 2007 to Liverpool and was surprised how nice it was, I had only seen it on "Bread" before that :-D.....I then went up there again in 2008 We stayed in a very nice hotel on the Albert dock.
