It's good to see your name back on the board, Dizzi, but I hope you take notice of all these caring people and stay out of the kitchen until you've fully recovered.

Is there a local fish and chip shop or take away that delivers?

Your cooking tips sound rather good, DIZZI, just make sure that someone else is cooking for you!

I cooked the chicken bones (we had Christmas lunch at son's gf's so only had chicken on Boxing Day) in the slow cooker and took the rest of the meat off the bones, and with more left over chicken made a great risotto, using the stock from the slow cooker and a packet of risotto rice from Lidl's. It was great and so easy to do. They are selling packs 2 for £2 at the mo so it was cheap as well, I added mushrooms which I drizzled with oil and cooked on a baking tray.

Dizzi, don't think you should be thinking of cooking, think you should be sitting down resting with your legs in the air lol
