That's with an M, not an N !

Anyone else get this?

I got it when I started menopause, and still have it, twenty years later, it's driving me mad.

If you don't know, it's the sensation of having something crawling on you. I get it on my legs, I keep swiping at insects that aren't there.

:-(

Allan Report 2 Jan 2013 07:40

Scozz I get that all the time...in my case it's the DT's :-D :-D

Kense

Kense Report 2 Jan 2013 09:12

I wonder why ants got blamed for it rather than spiders (arachnication) or arthopods in general?

LadyScozz

LadyScozz Report 2 Jan 2013 09:15

lol Kense......... the thought of ants is bad enough! If I thought I had spiders crawling on my legs I'd freak out :-0

DT's Allan? Are you sure it's not the male menopause? lol :-)

Be sure to let us know if you ever get pink elephants crawling up your legs.

Allan Report 2 Jan 2013 09:20

Gee, Scozz, you know the symptons so well :-D

It gives new meaning to trunks :-D :-D

I think that the male menopause happened a few years ago, but it wasn't so much a pause as a permanent condition ;-)

I had it when I started the menopause and it is horrible but rarely get it now, stopped when I was on HRT.

Ann - when I started HRT the crawling beasties weren't so bad.

I've been off the HRT for a couple of years, but the beasties are back!

Allan ~ I must look in a local shop for a pressie for you. When my brother came for a visit he bought a sarong, which he "modelled" for us. A nice colourful sarong with elephants on it. Ofcourse, he had to twist it around so that the trunk was in the "right" place.

:-0

Scozz - I assume you did not watch that programme earlier this evening on BBC2 entitled 'Nature's Weirdest events' - mainly dealing with creapy-crawlies by the trillion.

Thankfully, none in the UK to worry about.

Regretfully, none of the other posh words on this thread mean anything to me. I must look up their meaning sometime!
