Whats confusing me is I also found a Breffni ***** on Facebook it doesn't say where he was born, but his friends include lots of Irish, and Welsh people. :-S

So I was still none the wiser.

I believe Breffni is Irish? I have certainly see it in relation to my irish ancestors.... now I have to remember where and why lol ...(edited see post below)

I wouldnt think either was Welsh as both names have vowels in them, but I have an irish friend called Gino :-D

I`m attempting to do a little research for some one and..


I came across two people in the same household their first names are Breffni ****** and Becffni ****** and I was wondering if Breffni was a male and Becffni a female . Also could the names be Irish or are they Welsh ?
I suspect they are Welsh, taking into account the two f`s in the names and that the place in question being Cardiff, but you never Know, they are Alien names to me.. :-S
