Please help!! I am at a dead end searching for my Grandfathers Father. They shared the same name as i am led to believe. My grandfather was born in Aston Birmingham 26/12/1912, he was registered in jan feb mar 1913. No problems with him, however i cannot find evidence of his father and mother. The couple were married in 1912 John T Joyce to Martha Lock. I can trace Marthas family but my Gt Grandfather seems to be missing! He died at home in Acocks Green ( not sure of date although it seems that my Father remembers attending the house for a funeral 1950-55 ish. I have no birth date of him just lots of Joyces. Also if i sent off for my Grandfathers Birth Certificate would that list his mother and father back in the 1800's????? |
