Animals never complain???? Well, they have theirs regularly soothed by warm licks. What are you suggesting, Dermot? :-S :-S

It seems so long ago now since anyone referred to the Royal Family associate who, it is alleged by the tabloids & pompous MPs, possesses the prettiest posterior in all of the UK, if not the whole universe, as if the rest of us plebs & peasantry never possessed such a bodily part.

Animals never complain about having a pain in their bum. Lucky them!

Just woke up late this morning. First thing I thought of was your bum. How are you today? :-)

Bit overcast down her in Valleys but still unseasonably mild and dry (yes, DRY) today. And days are getting longer and Spring only a few weeks away :-D :-D

Another female reply Dizzi while the lot on the Welsh thread are sleeping after being up in the night having fun!

As others have said you don't have the padding now and normally you are a doer and it is frustrating for you to sit down...I know...I hate it too....A thick soft or memory foam cushion should help.Try to relax and have a read?..tension doesn't help.
I do crosswords or sudoku and find it very helpful.
We are all thinking of you.You are improving every day. X x

Dizzi ~ if you're sitting up in bed, try putting a pillow under your knees.

It helps!

The "boomerang" pilows are good for getting comfy sitting up too.

Hope you feel better soon. Sitting around gets sooooooo boring.

Gwen, if you have lost weight while poorly maybe you haven't so much padding now. Hope you can sit more comfortably soon, maybe have a lie down on your bed too, and a little snooze while you are there. Get well soon, love

Try a thick memory foam mattress or cushion, DIZZI.

Diz - when you were in ICU you would have been turned every two hours - 3 positions, on back, on left and on right. You are probably have lost weight.

Try a pillow/cushion - should help.

I believe old people have to move about a bit to avoid bed sores and piles.

So if resting a lot, it is really important to keep wiggling your bum Dizzi :-D :-D ;-)

You are really getting better if you can ask deep philosophical questions at this time in morning. Must now go out and wiggle my old scrawny bum :-D
