Green Tea for me John please, and I am still locked in. A delivery man brought a parcel to the front door this morning and I had to open the bedroom window and tell him to leave it by the porch.

I could be the lady locked in the tower! OH is coming home at 4.00 to resuce me.

As you once lived in Wolverhampton you will understand me when I say "Where's yer bin"

I need to come on this thread and confess to a terrible sin. Paula+ is a lovely lady. I imagine her living in a rather smart area and having tea with the ladies in the golf club. Camomile teas and thin cucumber sandwiches. Occasional whist.

She has got herself locked in this morning and missed her yougurt class. I wanted to be sympathetic, but have giggled and now suggested she works on bin collection for the local council and asked who is doing her shift if she cannot get out?

I only had 4 "friends" on Genes chat - now it is 3 and my popularity is plummeting. Can anybody help me?????

I'm afraid it's sarcasm for me...I'm terrible especially if someone is not being very nice...I really can't help myself, it just comes tumbling out of my mouth :-S

JustJohn Report 5 Jan 2013 14:55

MrDaff. I always thought you came across as very modest. But now I have burnt my bridges (or socks) with you, I can confirm it is false modesty.

The way you insisted that girl cashier in Pwllheli said how much your pasty cost in 3 different languages was an education in natural authority ;-) What a star. Quelle seren :-D
