Thank you all for your replies and good advise i have spent 2 weeks writing a letter to send witht the request to here goes.. won't get my hopes up but have to try. |

I wouldn't send a "Request to View Your Tree" without also giving some information. |

good luck - but I think some people - meaning like me! are a bit cautious with an unexplained request to view my tree. If you can add some vaguely convincing reason for your interest it might help. I apprecviate you don't want to jump in too abruptly. |

well give that a go first - calm down :-) now don't expect a response immediately, in fact prepare yourself not to get one at all then if you do it'll be the cherry on the cake :-D sometimes it's a sad fact that people don't respond for various reasons - having left the site for instance |

Hi all i hope you can help. It has taken me a long time to find a birth relative of mine i am so nervous she won't get it so i have sent "a trial" email requesting to see my friends tree. However the email my friend received is scrambled and she is unable to open my message. |
