Just had phone call today from my son. They had a positive pregnancy test 2 weeks ago but have been for their ist scan today. GOOD NEWS we are going to be grandparents to TWINS. So, So pleased for them. In can hardly type this for the tears.lol. :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Tell them to forget about the IVF and just get drunk.
That's how most conceptions seem to happen ! Lol.

Hello AnnMarie, I do hope everything went well for your son and d-in-l, will pray for a positive outcome for them. \so sorry that it didn't work out for your daughter and s-in-l. it will be very hard for them if your d-in-l's treatment is successful but I'm sure they will wish her well.

Thank you all for you kind remarks.Stage one done, just got to wait with baited breath and crossed fingers for 2 weeks before a pregnancy test to be done.Have been through all this before with my daughter & son in law but unfortunatly all their times of trying did not result in a good outcome, but my daughter is being so good about it all, although I know she must be hurting at the same time.
You never stop hurting for your children, do you.
Jude & Jean I am so pleased for you, you must be so exited. :-D :-D

Will be thinking of them both. My d i l had it done and granddaughter is due in March. This is after a number of setbacks too. Fingers crossed for them:)

Hope all goes well. My friend's son went through this 3 times, all failed. They decided to call a halt and have some time to rethink and went on a holiday instead of another go.

You've guessed it, a daughter born 11 months after holiday. She's just had her 1st birthday.

Hope your son and DIL are as lucky as these 2. :-)
