Sue,When you were here I was full time caring for my husband,I had a slot of 2 hours every week to shop and when I came to Oz I really came to son in Melbourne as he had lost his wife the year before and Eldest son was changing school and I went mainly to help him,but did go to other one for 2 weeks after we'd got the transition period over and I'd sorted uniform and books etc.
I did a few trips on my own.I printed a map out of the colony walking tour and walked the whole of the Rock area on my own.very interesting as I have a first fleeter in my family history.
Also went to Botany Bay.Would love to go again. :-)

We are about 1 1/2 hours south of Sydney. Wish I'd known you were visiting - we could have had a mini meet :-) Gymea Bay is a lovely area.

I'm south of Sydney and we have got up to a much cooler day - it reached 41C yesterday. This is extreme for our area. We can smell bushfire smoke this morning and it's a bit hazy as there is a nasty fire about 2 hours south of us. My son lives in Hobart and it has been very nasty there.

Thank you for your thoughts :-)

Hope all our friends in Australia are safe from the bush fires..
Remember last time how we all worried about Mick from the Bush.
Just heard it is going to be cooler tomorrow, but the wind could be a problem.
Keep safe everyone.
