Just had an update re the Tax thingy.....that we don’t want private health companies to be given tax breaks and its worked:))))

You can send a quick email to Monitor thanking them for changing their position and asking them to rule out all tax breaks for private health companies here:

Yes I expect the Committee does have some teeth when it comes to Government contracts, which SERCO is reliant on.

I don't see that being grilled by the Public Accounts Committee is going to do much good.

The result of their grilling of Starbucks, Google and Amazon was an offer of a few million from Starbucks. They must have considered it like being savaged by the proverbial dead sheep.

The petition is not far off 125,000 now.

yes, was going to say when I worked in Project management Serco were up for all sorts of building management contracts, Jacks of all trades then, as Maggie says, a bit scary that.

Yes I signed it some time back but they need the extra names now. It makes me cross that people like serco are not providing the proper care that they are paid for.
