Many thanks, Liz. Don't know Trevor very well, but I am amazed he is so active at 99. And he really is active - has his legs, his hearing, his marbles. And he can breathe pretty well. He seems to have missed all those things that cut life painfully short in this ex-mining area. Look at local obits and they are all born 1950, born 1960 - that sort of thing. And Trevor's wife died a couple of years ago after 70+ years of marriage. Amazingly, he is enjoying his late "single" life. Daughter and family live next door and say he is no problem at all. |
