Sandie. Yes, I was "sandy" when young. And I heard that "ginger for pluck". It was good to have ginger hair in those days. None of the teasing that "gingas" get these days.

OH is blondish - still a very good colour. Children both have reddish hair, but quite a nice colour - not my ginger. My bits now have very little ginger left ;-)

My dad had gingery / blond hair and my mothers cousin used to taunt him...
Ginger for pluck the red headed duck.

Mum used to laugh her head off at it,..the quotation.... cousin was a bit odd.

My niece and nephew have ginger hair, niece has dyed it blonde.

Flipping eck it's your manner and personality what counts not your hair colour.

I am ...oops sorry ..was brunette .

AnnC. I do have a fine head of hair. I don't need to accompany my hair when I get it cut and shaped :-) But it is red, long and luscious ;-)

Just looked at forecast for next 3 days. Every hour (day and night) from now till Sat morning it is a minus. Not much chance of too much more snow - but little chance of it clearing either.

Weekend sees the beginning of plus temps 24/7 - but not above 7C anytime up till next Thursday. Dryish, and should feel like a "heatwave" after all this snow and ice :-)

Having my perm and set on Saturday - staying in till then ;-)

It is snowing heavy here in Merthyr Tydfil and has been since about 8pm. If it continues like this we will have more by tomorrow morning than we did this morning. Main roads are trecherous and reports on facebook of cars sliding.

Did the same as you Sandie and cleared all the paths 2 days running.

Hubby is out throwing snowballs at the sky dish, it went all crackly , think he must have dislodged most of it , cos reception is back now ,but he is trying for a direct hit on the LMB . Dau is out trying to get an action photo of him !
