I don't envy you. Luckily I don't work on Friday's and the OH has instructions to do the weekend shopping tomorrow!! Herefordshire will get the snow after you.

Good Luck

No snow here not far from Channel Tunnel, just a bit of frost first thing.

Amazing coloured red sky early this morning..... Is that a warning sign ???

red sky in the morning - shepherd's warning - or in Wales, shepherd's house on fire :-D

Well, I wanted snow, and now I've got it! Started between Sundaynight/Monday morning, and 4 inches deep by Tuesday morning.West Norfolk doesn't often get so much. Last night, Marham - which is about 6 miles from me, had the distinction of having the lowest overnight temperature in Britain at -13c!
It's not very convenient at the moment, as my Dad is critically ill in hospital, so we keep having to visit him up in Kings Lynn.

Snowing all morning but still not settling at all. Calm before storm when it gets dark later :-( :-( Looks like all of Wales will be white in morning. And all counties adjoining - like Lancs, Cheshire, Glos etc.

Hello, calling from Durham; the place with the world's best-loved building - no, not what some bright spark connected to the Council wanted building near County Hall to 'PUT DURHAM ON THE MAP'. (Is he mad?)

No snow today (yet) but previous snow's lying. OK to walk to shops if one takes one's time. Our local roads seem passable but I know that in some of the villages it's still dicey.

Heavy snow and blizzards expected tomorrow.

Here's a snow story: we lived overseas and had to travel quite some distance and high up before we found snow in the wintertime. I put our wellies in boot and upon arrival went to get them out. Returning to the front of the car I found my daughter, then aged three, sitting in the snow and eating it!

The saying, 'Looks good enough to eat sprang to mind.' The same kind of thing happened with my son and a Christmas bauble before he was two.

Mersey...I too love Bodnant Gardens and will think of you when I go past.

It's not the Expressway ,John,as that will be treated Its the country roads that could be the problem....still not sure, waiting for lunchtime forecast.
