Now I am worried about the light in the box or container.

If it is kept on then there will be new photons added to the existing photons which are reflecting backwards and forwards across the box.

There will be some absorption of these by the animal but the net result will be that it is blinded by the increasing amount of light.

It is a room Kense with mirrors on the walls ceiling and floor. .......and don't worry, it won't get stressed out....it is a calma chameleon :-D :-D
