Fred is going to the hospital again tomorrow.Having had a dry run before Christmas we are all less nervous but I will still be gladwhen he gets back home tomorrow night.

it is to have his lower eyelid tightened up tomorrow. Then, when that has healed,it will be the cataract,we hope.

He has run through all the details today,in case I had forgotten something. I had to double check with the care providers to make sure they were going to visit at the right time so he didn't need the lavatory while he was out. I did explain that it was a hospital. They have people there all the time who need to be hoisted. Hadn't thought of that one!

He does not seem nervous at all tonight. I am!

I am sure Lynda won't mind you posting this, Sharron but how thoughtful of you to think about her situation.

I think she will smile at your suggestion you take it gown lol

Hope Fred gets on ok and you and hubby enjoy your lunch out.

Sharron, of course you must let us know about your Dad, and I do hope everything goes well for him this time.
Yes, they are an awful worry, it's as though we've become their parents.

All the best, Lynda x

He was last to be done, probably because he was having his eyelid tightened and maybe all the others were having their cataracts removed.

Anyway, his mate rang at 4.00 to say they he was going in soon and it would take about forty minutes.

The next we heard was when they came in at 9.00.

He has had his tea,a cup of tea, paracetamol and a whisky.

Oddly,he propelled himself from the ward to the ambulance and from the ambulance to the back door but, once inside, he couldn't see out of the other eye. Now there's strange!
