My garden looks absolutely beautiful at the moment, all covered with snow.
I have no firemen hidden in my shed :-(

Sharron

Sharron Report 18 Jan 2013 14:11

At least, when it snows, you will know if your fireman escapes and which way he went.

I know what you mean Joy BA. I would have loved a summer house but as OH was wanting a shed I knew that is exactly what he would have done.

We got a good-sized shed but eventually he added a bit more to it.

... and around the side of the house we have wood of every description stored. We don't have a wood-burning fire.

Do you have the same problem with wood? Every scrap of wood is saved because OH thinks it will come in useful - his brother-in-law's the same. OH's only ever used a small amount to make a couple of bird tables and bird boxes. Still, it keeps him occupied and I know where he is!

Sharron

Sharron Report 18 Jan 2013 14:35

In the shed?

JoyLouise

JoyLouise Report 18 Jan 2013 14:38

Yes - at least, I think so.

Good job I've got a good pair of lungs as I don't fancy climbing over the junk to find him though.

Sharron

Sharron Report 18 Jan 2013 14:39

We had to move the old shed when the wet room was built.

There were fifteen old starter motors in there.

Hands up,a couple were mine but not the lot of them.

JoyLouise

JoyLouise Report 18 Jan 2013 14:42

I'd better not let OH read this or I'll have to clamber over starter motors as well as other junk.

Mayfield

Mayfield Report 18 Jan 2013 15:05

Mmmm Man Shed,

My workshop has light, power, a hi-fi where I can play Bob Marley or Cream as much as I want, a phone and it did have the beer fridge but we had to shift it to get another freezer in :-(! Still thats only in the side shed about 20ft away.

Ah the peace and solitude!

LollyWithSprinklez Report 18 Jan 2013 15:20

You don't know your born!!!

Mine has filled a shed, cellar, lock up garage, van, with "Good" wood, old lawnmowers, hoovers, Projectors, car parts for cars that long ago bit the dust. Even the old dustbins prior to wheelies.

A third of the garden is the same with 5 water butts 3 compost bins enough chairs to hold a Buck house garden party (but no room to actually have one) or space to spread the compost.

Am I a happy bunny - no I am not :-(

I hate snow but at least today my garden looks the same as everyone's
only problem being I have the curtains closed to keep in the heat so can't see it anyway :-(
:-D :-D :-D
