My English teacher in Walsall asked us to define sex. One girl from Sutton Coldfield said they had their coal delivered in them :-S :-S

Article in the Mail says

"Vanilla sex is OUT, porn addiction is IN: Disturbing survey reveals how porn is damaging our relationships .Leading sex and relationship experts find men suffer performance anxiety because of ‘impressive’ feats in porn
Women feel insecure about their bodies and feel pressured to ‘perform’"

What made me notice this was the use of the term 'Vanilla sex' , which I hadn't heard of (apparently it's the dull boring, no variety type) and what made me laugh was this comment

"I've always found Vanilla a bit tricky.....we keep losing the pods!"

BUT! it's a serious subject. In the era of '50 shades etc '... do you think we have moved too far away from just 'doing it the way that suits you best' without feeling any pressure to be ...chooses words carefully... ' different' ( lol not sure that's the best word really but you get my drift I'm sure)?

Reminds me of John Bishop being told by his wife to have THE conversation with one of his boys. Really embarrassing for any dad, and he slapped a porn video on in the end. They watched it together and then he said "To be honest, son, they're not always that enthusiastic. And very rare they bring a mate. :-D

Always enjoy my 3 scoops of vanilla at Nando's ;-)

I think there is a lot of pressure to try things we don't to BUT I do feel that words are easy and its easy to big it up but maybe we will never know which type is really in or out. Anyway why do people want to talk to other people about there sex lives its beyond me as mine is private! :-D

Me too Sheila lol I have just made one :-)

Just seems a shame to me that perhaps lads ( or girls) my sons age are watching porn to 'learn how' when it's so unrealistic lol ... like watching a bricklayer and thinking 'that looks easy, I can do that' and finding the wall falls down lol

Hi RamblingRose, I don't think things have changed very much regarding sexual activities, just some people have a lower sex drive.

What one person enjoys another dislikes, and what some people enjoy during their lovemaking, there are others who find whatever, shall we say, depraved, and its not only the holy holy types.

Some people think homosexual activities are wrong, but as long as its consensual, so what.
I personal don't care what people get up to so long as it doesn't involve children
Sex as far as I am concerned should be enjoyable, even fun ;-) ;-) whatever rocks your boat ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)

George :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

My greatest thrill these days is a cup of Azura. The one in a silver tin and an orange plastic top :-D :-D

Now I have always been one of life's innocents, but I came across the term camel toe the other day. Not much to do with camels, not much to do with toes. For the uninitiated, I attach a video below: :-0 :-0 :-0 :-0

Rambling Report 18 Jan 2013 17:05

I don't think I have ever noticed camel's toes John.

George when I was young there was no internet lol, so it was either magazines at the newsagents ( tame), literature, or if you had an older sibling they might just have a copy of 'the joy of sex' with black and white drawings, which unless I'm imagining it were mainly pictures of cuddles? :-)

George Report 18 Jan 2013 17:11

Don't have a problem with porn, been going on for ever, look at the ancient Romans, Greeks, Indian etc.
I expect there are lots of people who also enjoy a little porn, but wont admit it :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

George :-) :-) :-)

JustJohn

JustJohn Report 18 Jan 2013 17:19

I have seen camel's toes, but many years since I was on manoevres in the Sahara.

Something to do with loose fitting underwear, I believe. Don't get excited, George :-D

I used to get vaguely excited as a teenager over a classical painting of Venus standing on a sea shell with not much on and exposing one of her flobbly bits. Nowadays the youngsters don't have to have a very vivid imagination - they could probably qualify as a gynaecologist after a couple of nights watching porn videos on Internet ;-)

If people are daft enough to want to watch a cosmetically enhanced woman and an athletic elongated male performing positions that I could only have achieved during gymnastic lessons aged 12 then that's their problem...lolol

If you have a loving partner then there is no pressure to do anything you would be uncomfortable with.

BTW I gave up swinging from the chandelier when my hip went ;-)

If a man insists on watching it then I guess he has something lacking in his life and I think it's sad. Just my opinion. If he and his partner choose to that's their right. Nobody should watch and feel inadequate. We are who and what we are :-D

George

George Report 18 Jan 2013 17:30

I don't think it's only men who look at porn.

George :-)

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 18 Jan 2013 17:33

I haven't seen anyone mention the word respect here. Youngsters watching porn might think their opposite numbers want to be treated like the people they have been watching but I can't imagine that anything they see on porn sites will instruct them that their opposite number of whatever sex should be treated with respect. (And love).

And I am with Sheila and Rose with the coffee!!! :-)
