I know free members can read and reply to messages....but there are bound to be some that do not realise this...and will then pay thinking thats the only way they will see them.

If we recieve a message we get a seperate email saying Contact from Genes reunited (Persons name)

None of my messages have gone unopened for more than 12 hours in the 3 years I have been on here....so why would I ever need reminding anyway??

I keep getting a similar message saying i have 10 !! unread messages I don't, I open all of em and reply to any that need a reply.

According to the home page I have 14 unread hot matches dating back to June/july.
The message has been there for months.
I keep checking, but there have been no new hot matches for about 18 months.

I contacted GR after being alerted to (non existant) unopened messages. They didn't reply :-(

I few weeks ago I had a similar message saying I had two unread messges. There was no sign of them!!

I recieved an email yesterday titled "Jax you have 6 unread messages" it went on to say...These messages could hold the clues you have been looking for about that mysterious Chan relation, or lead you to discovering about a whole new branch of your family tree....

Being a paying member and using this site everyday, I would notice if I had any messages....I did have one from someone I had helped a week or so ago, so where are the other five I wonder?

Had I been a free member, would I then think...Wow I must pay £20 to read all these messages, to find they did not exist....
