That raises another question !

If your membership lapses/you leave and then rejoin do you get a new number ?

If so, that would make the GR membership numbers a mess unless previous numbers were deleted :-S

Yes you do Elizabeth.. I first joined in 2003, but due to a GR cockup my membership lapsed even though I had never left. Doh!
I couldn`t be bothered to argue the toss with them. Fools.

Edit:
Just tried my old account number, it comes up...
"It is not possible to send a message to this member. Their account may be deleted".

So it looks like,even if the account is deleted the number still stays on GRs membership records. :-D

If your membership lapses, you then become a free member. You can continue to build your tree, but you cannot initiate messages but will be able to recieve them then reply, plus you will not be able to post on the boards
