I just sprayed the window sill to give it a polish.

I thought.........that looks a bit creamy.

It was oven cleaner!!!!

I once sprayed my hair with fly killer - was in my mothers, going out for a meal with my cousin - she sprayed her hair with lacquer and put it back on the kitchen dresser - thought I'd do the same but picked up a fly killer spray instead!! at least we weren't bothered by flies that evening :-D

The window sill is varnished wood so fortunately i quickly washed it off and no harm done.
Just pleased i didn't spray it on the wall unit first. :-0

Have you ever sprayed hair spray under your arms just after shaving??

You were very lucky PH. A friend staying in our house once started to spray our wood coffee table with oven cleaner and it took the colour out.

Many years ago I read an article about cleaning teak oil off furniture, It was supposed to be white spirit and I used undiluted Methylated Spirit. It removed the teak oil,and resulted in us having to have the table french polished :-0 :-0

I sprayed a wasp with starch instead of Insecticide once. If it meant that is couldn't move it's wings, it probably had the same effect ;-)

Was making breakfast this morning and when the kettle boiled I poured it onto my cereal instead of in my coffee cup :-S :-S
