Yes Errol - 31 Jan for online submissions.

If you submit in a paper format, it should have been in by 31 Oct last year

Nice to see you post Elizabeth, I was wondering where you were :-)

I've done my tax form, did it early forunately, , hateful thing! and the tax office are not above sending out fine notices even when you have submitted it online in plenty of time.

Dear All

Hello


Almost two million people have yet to to file their self-assessment tax returns before tonight's deadline.

If not, an automatic penalty file will apply.

The £100 fine for filing of the self-assessment document on February 1 or later is imposed even if workers have already paid any tax due for the year or no tax is liable.
