£2grand for 2 implants? are they second hand?(pre used?) Thats cheap, and it usually takes quite a long time to do, unless you have the other quick method where they are popped in with a rivet gun. :-( keep your own for as long as you can. :-D |

People do come over for a holiday and get their implants done at the same time. The only problem is you would need two visits three months apart. |

I have visitors arriving today for a fortnight and one of my caps fell off last night. At least I still have it and the dentist can't stick it back on until Friday. Super Glue did cross my mind! Two weeks ago another cap fell off and I swallowed it but it doesn't show and at the end of the month the same two teeth are being replaced with implants (they are much cheaper here than in England). I used to have a denture with two teeth on and I hated it, half my food ended up underneath it. I replaced it last year with two implants and it is wonderful. I don't smoke, drink much buy expensive clothes etc etc so this is my treat to me. |

Don't be afraid girls! I have had dentures for about 20 years now, never had a days problem with them and after years of gum and teeth problems, I was relieved to go down that path.. And nobody can tell if they are real or not! |

shirley , this is what i dread i will try to keep my own teeth as long asi can. have lost a couple of back teeth due to bone loss. i have no loose teeth at the moment, just hope the deep clean i am due to have dosnt make any loose. my sister had to loose all her top teeth. she spent her redundancy money on implants £16,000 her new teeth look lovely. i would have opted for dentures being 60 + as my sister is. but every one if free to spend thier money as they wish. a good few holidays would have been my list... |

Well been resisting em for years. Spent a fortune on caps and bridges to hold my teef together, remember mums teeth that spent all their time in a cup on the kitchen window sill , when she put em in her face changed and she wasn't our mum. |
