Anyone else (who has seen the film) finding themselves constantly either singing or listening to the songs.??? I had *master of the house* going around in my head whilst at Asda this morning...but I can't guarantee I didn't have a little sing outloud at some point lol. |

Muffy, I haven't seen the film but have seen the stage production and also have the dvd and I frequently find myself singing songs from Les Mis. Master of the house is one of the ones that seems to stick in my head as well. |

Must admit I do not fancy the film, but when the trailers are on I love seeing Greenwich being used to protray Paris. |

My OH was very anti ..but he's finally agreed to come with me to see it...he didn't like the idea of it all being in song...but now he's a bit more familiar with the music he's more up for it ! |

:-D :-D I even wake up with the music in my head. Do you hear the people sing is one that keeps reappearing but also I dreamed a dream and Eponime's song when she is dying, not sure what it is called is it A Little drop of rain won't hurt me now. |

I got dragged along to see it, and to be honest was rather underwhelmed. I know I'll probably be in a minority of one here. I found it far to long. And Russell Crowe can't sing. |

Andrew I was given a tape of Les Mis in early eighties - and found it depressing - so have no desire to seee/hear it. |

I'd always wanted to see Les Mis, but Daff didn't fancy it .... not being particularly French minded.....(tongue in cheek,to say the least!). But a few years ago she presented me with a 'package' - tickets to the show at the Bristol Hipp' and overnight stay in Bristol. She was not keen on the former.... ;-) |

Mr Daff, I think Daff got a bit of pressure from me too to see the show, or got fed up with me going on about it. But she did report back that it was great and she'd go to see it again. |

I was very unsure about seeing the stage version, too, but we did go during a weekend trip to London a few years ago. I thought it was brilliant - the staging was superb and the whole thing just swept you away. I'd like to see the film but it's a major expedition getting to a cinema :-(. We usually end up going to the Vue near Bristol as parking is easy, but it's quite a long trip. |

I saw the film three weeks ago and I am still waking up singing the songs, and then they are in my head all day. Mind you, no-one else would agree that the sound I make would be considered to be singing :-D |
