How about making wine from the fruit..all you need is lots of water, sugar and yeast, some demi-johns and the patience for it all to ferment then hey presto a wine drinking party......in my younger days I made wine from varied flowers: rose petals, elderberry flowers, dandelions also from parsnips, rhubarb and so many more vegetables...my oh made his own beer, stout and even whiskey...it's surprisingly easy to attempt and we made so many 'new friends' who popped in for tasting sessions...those were the days...food or rather drink for thought, yes...

What am I gonna do with 300 bananas?

:-D :-D :-D :-D

People we know have about 20 acres, mostly mango & avocado trees. The trees are still there, but they lost all the fruit. Thousands of mangos & avo's. What a mess to clean up.

:-(

Well they would be ripe by the time I got them Scozz, lol

I do like bananas but can understand there's a limit to how many you can consume in a short time!

Take care, hope the bananas are the worst of the trouble caused by the cyclone.

Cleanup after cyclone Oswald!

We have three huge bunches of green bananas hanging in the garage - each bunch has over 100 bananas.

I think the possums ate about 30 off each one :-(

Hopefully they won't all ripen at once. I'm going to be so fed up with banana cake :-D
