The Martin Clunes doc. Mersey? I thought it was a marvelous programme.

The dog feeding the lamb with a bottle and the dog who looked after his master by getting the cash from atm machine...........fantastic :-D

I loved it too. First I knew of left or right footed dogs too. The love shown between dog and master or mistress was wonderful.
The story of the man in the wheelchair, how he couldn't find emotion or even smile until that dog came into his life was magical.
Found myself a bit teary because I really miss my G.Sheperd who we had to put to sleep in 2007 aged 15. She knew, as was shown when we were sad or poorly, and knew every word we said.
I am looking forward to the Horse one too.
Mersey, was it your little dog that was hurt? I hope she/he made a full recovery :-D

I thoroughly enjoyed it....I did blub especially the story of the dog and his owner getting knocked down and the dog limped to cover his owner to keep him warm....

Also the dogs being left or right handed (pawed) lol :-)

Its mine and Mums dog Barb we share him (3 days with me, 4 with Mum) lol....hes doing well hes back to his normal happy self apart from where he was bitten.....The vet did say he would heal very quickly and he certainly has, if not just a little nervous of bigger dogs now......he can still tell the time when its times for his walks ....

Thanks for asking Barb :-) <3

Kangaroo Dundee is brilliant too, we watched it today.
I shall make a note of the horse one Barb.
There are some days I would say you could have our dog Barb, she is around a year old, we rescued her in July, and she is full of mischief

I especially loved the story about the wheelchair bound chap and his dog aid? helper, both got hit by a car. The man was thrown out of his chair and the dog who was also hurt put him in the recovery position, took the blanket from the chair and covered his master and limped off to raise the alarm. He was awarded a medal. Dog equivelent of the VC.

LOL what makes you think I loved the prog :-D :-D :-D

Talking of dogs.......

A lady found that her dog (a Schnauzer) could hardly hear, so she took it to the veterinarian.

The vet found that the problem was hair in the dog's ears. He cleaned both ears, and the dog could then hear fine.
The vet then proceeded to tell Andrea that, if she wanted to keep this from recurring, she should go to the store and get some "Nair" hair remover and rub it in the dog's ears once a month.

Andrea went to the store and bought some "Nair" hair remover. At the register, the pharmacist told her, "If you're going to use this under your arms, don't use deodorant for a few days."

Andrea said, "I'm not using it under my arms."

The pharmacist said, "If you're using it on your legs, don't use body lotion for a couple of days."

Andrea replied, "I'm not using it on my legs either. If you must know, I'm using it on my Schnauzer."

The pharmacist says, "Oh well then, stay off your bicycle for about a week."
