I've changed my colours on Firefox and my screen looks a bit like a brothel at moment (have visited a couple in the course of research, if anyone wonders). But screen and text much darker and bigger:-D Will keep playing with it till I get a more normal looking background and script.

What a shame Genes have done so little to make the colours relaxing :-(

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-GB/windows-vista/Change-the-colors-and-fonts-used-for-webpages

tells you how to change the colours if you are using Internet Explorer.

If you are using a different browser google Change the colours and fonts used for webpages in Firefox (or whatever you are using)

Good question. Not on your own. I thought it was old age and failing eyesight :-(
