lolol

I often put the phone on the bench and go back later.

If I'm feeling snippy I say nothing at all....... that gets them all confused.

If I'm in a weird mood I pretend to be a visitor who speaks little English, and I jabber at them.

The spate we've been having lately is about renewing insurance on the sky box !

The bleeding thing is 13yr old ! and we haven't had insurance on it for probably 10.
we've has at least 4 since the new yr ,
I can always tell it's a iffy call when hubby picks up the phone and says ' Sorry but I didn't understand what you said..... '
If he's feeling a bit bored he will have a chat with' Bob or Martin' or whoever it maybe and string them along for a bit, (unusual names the eastern mother's give their children ) til he gets fed up and say's his goodbyes.!!

Had 3 automated calls about the Government misrepresenting the grants available for insulation lately too.

Haven't had the Legal Solution one yet tho, Hmm that's a new one .

Sandie.

I reply with some temerity. I think it is phishing on behalf of a solicitor.

Had you had an accident 3 years ago (or a fair time ago, or you had said "no, it was 2012 or 2011") they would have suggested a solicitor to get you some compo.

They probably get paid well for introducing clients to a "no win no fee" solicitorr.

hehehe :-D

"Can I speak to ................" -
me - "who wants her"
reply - "Legal solutions
me =- I do not wish to speak about legal solutions
reply - it's about the car accident you had in 2010
me - I did not have a car accident in 2010
reply - no minor scrapes or bumps
me - no
reply - well it will just have to dealt with by motorway people

what's that all about - not the first one I've had like that - had another persistent one which claimed I'd had a car accident in a car park somewhere
