I guess the issue boils down to equal rights - should the gay community (male or female) be restricted to civil partnerships or should they in theory be allowed to have their union recognised as an actual marriage - nothing to do with the church |

I'm on the same wavelength as you Gins - gays already have the option of a civil ceremony - would it really be worth DC gong that step further? not in my opinion |
