Well, Scotland, England and even little Wales all won last night. Anybody watch any of matches.

England beat BRAZIL (sic) for first time since 1990. And Brazil looked like their first team and played quite well. Lampard was exceptional.

Wales beat Austria 2-1, only second victory under Chris Coleman. Austria were very dangerous and the Welsh defence (particularly on the right) appeared to be very opening and welcoming to our Viennese whirls.

Wales have 3 world class players - Gareth Bale (arguably best player in the world at moment), Craig Bellamy (fastest terrier in Bristish football) and Boaz Myhill (the goalkeeper). And a couple of others who can step up this season. :-D

Brilliant, BC. No, had missed that. Scotland beat Estonia 1-0. Burke and Mulgrew appear to have been the stars. Great start for Gordon Strachan. :-D

Gareth the best player in the world!

Having watched both Gareth and Lionel in the past few weeks I would say that Gareth is very good but not a match for Lionel.

Northern Ireland drew with Malta 0 - 0 so a good night for all, not often we can say that at national level.

Many thanks, Pat. Missed that one too.

Robbie Savage last night said that he thought there were 5 brilliant players at moment. Messi was one, think Ronaldo was another. Bale was in that group of five and is just so brilliant at the moment. You can see how he is marked now just how much every team fears him. :-)

Were the results of those matches fixed or not?
