As you know,it is hard to understand Fred since he has had his stroke and gets his mucking firds wuddled.

Yesterday, I was wittling away at the veg for tea. Out he rolls, pointing to his ear and saying something about fish!

Well no,he doesn't want me to get him any new hearing aid batteries.How silly of me to think such a thing,he gets his own.

No,it transpires that he has run out of cotton wool buds which he can also get for himself but he doesn't want any more anyway!
