My COPD began with asthma also. My family have used deodorants for many many years.

However, I would point out that aftershave and perfume are lethal. Boys and girls appear to slather themselves in it from about the age of 13. I have often felt sympathy for teachers with all these different scents wafting around a classroom.

When I go to hairdressers, I go on a Tuesday afternoon - very quiet - usually me - perhaps one other - any other day of the week and I could not breathe in spite of my oxygen. Some folks never learn that less is more!

Hi Chris having chronic asthma myself i can only just begin in a small way to understand how you must feel. My Mum and several other members of my family have COPD I really hope i never get to that stage and i continue to manage my asthma as well as i have been. Sadly, unless anyone has lived with respitory problems they can never really know how it feels or the full implications of what something like spraying an aerosol can mean. Trust yu are keeping well x

Feeling better today - hence on PC!!! The dreaded pseumonas raised its ugly head last week.
