Can it be done?

Having been with GR almost 7 years Ive contributed to several threads and read several more.

All the hundreds of pages must take up space somewhere on my PC.

Is it possible to delete all but the last couple of weeks pages to give myself more room on what ever disc and perhaps let my PC speed up.

Can it be done?

David, all your contributions whilst on GR are not saved on your PC they are saved on GR's web sites server so will not affect your PC,

To speed up your PC you can do PC maintenance such as deleting unnecessary files "disk cleanup" and clearing your browser history and cookies, then do a defrag "defragment" run "Disk defragmenter"

If that does not help you could download and run a PC cleaner to help speed up your system or you could do both

I am not sure but I don't think anything that is posted on here is saved on your machine, think its all saved on GR's servers.

Thank you both,I was unaware of that.

I scan and defrag every day but it's a slow pc....but like me it's an old one.

I would suggest that if you have never defragged your computer before that you do this overnight. Can take a while

The slow running can be down to lots of processes running in the background. Now unless you know what you are doing its not safe to stop unnecessary ones yourself.

Find a friend who can look at what's running and stop them. You'll be surprised how much quicker it'll run.
