Mersey I have just ordered a CD off Amazon of him so I shall tell you if I like him or not when I get it. Never too old to learn new tastes. :-)

Hi Ann I would say Jason Mraz is more American Pop/Rock, Im a great fan of certain American music.....he has been singing and writing for about 10 years now, im hoping when he does his next European tour he comes this way :)

There is a song he sings with Colbie Callait which I love too. Also look out for Colbie , she is another great american singer, well I think so anyways, especially the song "Bubbly" is great.......

Labasheedy (The Silken Bed)

Mersey just listened to him on youtube, what a great sound and what a great voice. What genre would you say that was, it sort of sounds a cross between country and rock to me but I am not well up on music types really. Must look out for him anyway so thank you for that. :-)

Thank you for those Mersey. I haven't heard of Jason Mraz before, does he write and sing his own songs. I don't listen to a lot of modern pop so maybe have missed them but the words are lovely.
