OneFootInTheGrave Report 14 Feb 2013 08:21

A man was returning home from the pub, smelling like a distillery, he got on a bus and flopped on a seat next to a priest.

The man's suit was stained, his face was plastered with red lipstick, and a half empty bottle of whiskey was sticking out of his coat pocket. He opened his newspaper and began reading, he looked up and said to the the priest "Father, what causes arthritis?"

The priest replied, "Well my son, it's the result of loose living, being with wicked women, too much whiskey, and a contempt for your fellow man."

"Well I'll be damned!" the man muttered and returned to reading his newspaper.

The priest, feeling a bit guilty about ehat he had said to the man said, "I'm very sorry. I didn't mean to upset you, so how long have you had arthritis?"

Wait for it ;-)
