Saw a heavily pregnant woman in tesco last summer. She was wearing a very brief, almost bikini top. Her navel was sticking out, and it really did look a bit revolting! We can see that they are pregnant, do they have to be so "up front" about it? :-P |

I have to remark though, last summer I saw lots of pregnant 'girls' pushing a buggy and exposing a huge bump absolutely covered in stretch marks. Now that I did not find attractive in any way :-( :-( |

Getting back to the topic..............................my youngest is pregnant and she can wear whatever she feels comfortable in. I do believe that she would be more likely to wear a maternity costume..otherwise grandson is likely to be yelling at the exposed bump asking when his sister is coming out? :-D :-D :-D |

Ever since I became pregnant (about 20 years ago) I have been embarrassed to show my bump on the beach. Like Paula, I wear flowery and loose tops. ;-) |

I think we were lucky in the 60s, with flower power loose dresses and smock tops, very trendy and bang in fashion. I like to see pregnant women, they can look blooming and radiant , but some to squeeze into tight ill fitting clothes which is not a good look for anyone in my opinion. |

As long as they are on the beach when they're in the swimwear I guess it's appropriate. |
