Well there I was sat in my clean draws wearing my tin hat
my snorkle and gas mask strapped to my face
waiting for a tidal wave from that astroid hitting us
and nothing not a flicker in the sky where I was
well there was next doors surcurity light that come on - but that doesnt count

mind if it hit our local job centre nobody would of noticed round here :-( :-(

nothing here to not a hint of a tremor
i think it may of been a rumour put about by burglers
so they could sneak in the back door and make off with the telly
while everybody was on the front looking up and freezing their cabbages off ;-) ;-) ;-)

LOL remember a few lines from a Tv play with james bolam.......the couple were leaving the house on their way to school(they were both teachers)

" did the earth move for you?"

"not quite but the wardrobe moved over a bit"
