the house next door to my sister's was burgled and when the burglar was eventually apprehended he said he particularly remembered that house as when he was leaving the dog dashed off and fetched her lead to go with him!!

lolol :-D

We used to have a huge white rabbit (my brothers said it was a New Zealand rabbit) ~ it grunted!!

It was bigger than our dog (a part dachsund); when the rabbit was out of its hutch the dog was usually by the back door of the house, shivering!

sheesh, that was over 45 years ago, I can't remember the rabbit's name :-(

OneFootInTheGrave Report 16 Feb 2013 11:06

A family's giant pet rabbit scared off a burglar by thumping its huge feet on the floor of its cage.

The rabbit called Toby, who is 2ft long and weighs 10lbs, was woken by the burglar as he rifled through cupboards while its owners slept.

The startled burglar fled when the angry pet began stamping on the floor of his cage in the kitchen, just like Thumper in Disney's classic film Bambi, .
