I'd like to know where my DNA originated...I fear it was from the 'life model' for that Venus of Willendorf statue ;-)

I loved both the programmes.

I love Eddie and I also love the Bexhill Pavilion where some of it was filmed.

Fascinating viewing.

Silly Sausage Report 21 Feb 2013 22:49

I enjoyed most of it and found it interesting as soon as they said we all come from one women I said to Itsmytelly that must be Eve. But I found some bits boring and felt the dragged it on abit.

For those who were particularly interested in Eddie's trip to Pompeii, if you are near London you might like to go to

'Life and Death: Pompeii and Herculaneum at the British Museum'
From 28 March 2013 to 29 September 2013

I really enjoyed it too. That one woman in Africa must have been kept pretty busy then,!

Still cant pooh pooh the idea that we evolved from apes,

Its on again tonight and will definitely be watching.

I found last nights programme truly fascinating - Eddie is a great person for this as he has so side to him and engages with all he meets and they all seemed to appreciate his honesty.

What a shame he could not get into Aden.

I think Eddie is a great person and someone who I deply admire for his go to attitude - he never baulks from trying anything. Just think of the marathons he ran for Red Nose day 2 years ago.

Why has he never been given an MBE etc.

Hi Thelma, I suppose that's more a question for those who know the bible better than I do to answer.

But the science of DNA showed we do all come from 'Eve', as in the first woman who was a recogniseable 'ancestor', in Africa and whose 'offspring' migrated East, West and North.

Thelma Report 21 Feb 2013 12:11

I have not read the bible for over sixty years.
So how does Eddie's journey compare?
