on Tuesday I saw lots of celandines - a real herald of Spring and saw my first wild promroses!!! I bet they wish they'd stayed underground now |

I found a very fat green caterpiller today. It was in the middle of the park path so I picked it up thinking it was dead to have a closer look. The warmth from my hands must have got through to it and I saw it was alive so I carefully placed it amonst the dead leaves under a bush. Hopefully it will survive the rest of the winter,( to eat my plants) I suspect. :-D |

My magnolia is full of buds too Gwynne, I'll be cross as you will be if the frost gets them without them flowering :-( |
