I have just read that according to a recent British survey, almost one in five people only wash their bed linen monthly. Strange the things they find out in surveys. We wash ours weekly. :-)

So do I Ann and when its hot the bottom sheet can be everyday,,,,,,,,mind if the survey was for single men or live alone people I can understand the once a month....

In our hot summer we only have the bottom sheet (no need for anything else) and it often gets changed every day. That includes pillowcases & pillow protectors.

Pillow cases everyday - bottom sheet every other day in summer. Every week in winter.

Slightly off topic I have never understood the wearing of underwear for two days by wearing it inside out on day 2 :-0 :-| :-S - - would rather keep my sheets on for a month that adopt that practice :-D ;-)

thats why I cringe and wont stay in B&B's,,,,,,,,,do they change the bed lined each time or do a top to tail shift over....erkkkkk. ;-)
