I've been for a walk along the sea today, and it was bitterly cold, I haven't warmed up yet, but it was worth it, it blew all those cobwebs away :-D

Lol Marilyn, we are Norfolk Dumplings not Suffolk swedes, what you doing with swede boots lol Safe travelling and happy homecoming!

This house of o.h.'s is not centrally heated so it isn't that warm, but instead of slippers I wear those soft fleece type boots that aren't really suitable for outside if it's wet but keep my toes and ankles lovely and warm indoors. They have lasted for ages because I only wear them inside (well except for just stepping outside to put bird food out or something) and I have a new purple pair (a fiver inTescos last year) for when these ones fall apart.

I can't stand being cold.

Hello Jean, hope you are ok, I am just off to bed lol I would love an electric blanket but o.h. hates being too warm in bed. I wear layers in bed as well as when I am up and about, the only way to keep snug even if I look like Michelin man.

Take care and stay warm

A light dusting of snow here and more falling now near Channel coast.
I'm sitting here with 2 fleece jackets on top of each other, as this part of the house has no heating.

Roll on spring. I too hate being cold.

? ?????? ????? (s dough-breem oo-trum). (*)

It is only a bit chilly, turn up the heating a tad and wear a hat outside.
I used to work near Chelyabinsk in Russia where the winter really is long and hard
and the summers short. This morning there it is -9C about the same as Twickers yesterday afternoon.

(*) good morning
