	Loving thoughts and prayers to you all. God does answer prayer, I had meningitis when I was five, long before all the wonders of modern science and my Dad was an agnostic but he said he prayed and thankfully his prayers were answered and here I am to tell the tale in my 80th year, so take heart and know that prayers are going out to your little one for healing. <3 <3

	Bless her, poor little mite, to have to suffer at such a young age. Her parents and all the family must be devastated but I am sure the hospital is doing the very best for her and she will come through this. A neighbour of mine some years ago, had the same thing with her new baby girl, she was fine after treatment, altho her mother fell downstairs with her later and the baby had a broken leg to contend with. She is now a healthy happy teenager and no ill effects. I looked after a little boy and his brother 20 years ago, Harry had meningitis when very small (before I cared for him) and lost the hearing in one ear, he managed very well and you wouldn't have known there was a problem as he had grown up compensating by just turning his head so his good ear was closer to the sound. He is now a young man in his twenties and doing fine. Will think lots of positive thoughts for little Princess and hope to hear good news soon. Try not to worry and make yourself unwell, Brenda Lizxx
