	Good that the bacteria has been identified and better still good that Princess is improving and the tests for brain and kidney function are good. I hope she will continue improving and soon be home again with her sisters and family. Lizx

Seems that it is from an animal,they only have a cat and it hasn't been near her as far as they know. Her temperature is still fluctuating,but has been a bit more aware and they think there was a little smile today. Her mum asked if they had a little bouncy chair so she could feed her in it so she wouldn't disturb her by holding her where she hurts.They said it was a good idea and when daughter got there she was asleep in it It is still serious,but when her temp comes down a bit they will be happier....parents still both staying and the girls are loving being at uncles and they said they can stay as long as necessary .Good job the family all live quite near each other.

	Grief :-( that's odd isn't it? Keep positive please Brenda, it sounds like they have it under control and have been thorough with their investigations. Be kind to yourself, you must be strung out. Look forward now to the good and not backward to the bad. Sue xx

	Things are looking much more hopeful now, don't you think Brenda? I hope little Princess will be strong enough to keep fighting back and will be home with her family very soon. It's strange about the animal link, but maybe the cat doesn't have to have gone near her, one of the family could have touched the cat and then the baby and passed on the bacteria. Let's hope her immune system will get better so she can fight off the day to day things around her. You must feel lots better now, and less worried Lizx
