Latest news ....
Princess is more stable and been taken off the paracetamol she was on ...Still has ibuprofen intravenously and antibiotics, but temperature is OK.

Apparently she's the youngest in there now and they're all making a fuss and the nurses love her.

She's a little fighter and hasn't stopped feeding throughout...so that's really helped keep her strength up I suppose.

So good to hear Princess is doing well, and taking her feeds while she has been poorly is very good, as you say it will have kept her strength up. Look forward to hearing more good news. <3 <3

Taking food is a very good sign :-D Babies often have a strength that defies logic.

A little fighter for sure. I am glad Princess is doing so well and hope her good progress will continue. How can the staff not fall in love with such a sweetie?

Good news...baby has been taken off painkillers...still has to have a canula fitted every 2 days with antibiotics.I think for another 2/3 days and then has to have another lumbar puncture to check that there is no bad bacteria in spinal fluid.

Parents have asked for her pram to be brought in to take her for a little walk out of the ward.
Two of her sisters have been in to see her today and their daddy took them to the playroom afterwards.

So it is looking much brighter.

Another step forward for the little one, hope each day brings new strength and better health for her and she will soon be home again. Lovely to think she can be taken for a little airing and that she has seen her sisters again.

Onwards and upwards.

Seems as though Princess may be out towards end of week.
She is progressing so well.
Thee only thing is the lumbar puncture she has to have when antibiotics finish.
Looks like all the positive thoughts and prayers from everyone have helped tremendously.!

Shame she has to have the lumbar puncture, but at least it will prove there are no nasties left. Bless her, I hope she is home as they say she will be, for lots of cuddles I'm sure. <3
