I am worried about Brenda. Is she still in Ruthin?

If you had alll gone to Bangor singing rugby songs and waving out of the windows at any poor unsuspecting, I am sure Brenda is upset you went past her door and let her go to Ruthin without you all :-( :-( :-(

She'll be coming round the mountain when she comes (What on earth does that mean? - sounds like my grandma's logic "she is only as good as she ought to be")

Wave, wave. ~~~~~~~~~~~~

What about Dead Eye Dick, Mexico Pete & the gentle Eskimo Nell or the 4 & 20 virgins who came down from Inverness?
What did they do to get left out?
Ahhhhh memories of a misspent youth. :-0 :-0 :-0

Island Report 2 Mar 2013 13:45

Ah 4 and 20 wirgins! that was the one I was trying to remember - got confused with The Good Ship Venus. Oh the awfulness of having to mix with sports edumication fellows at uni. :-0

island.
Think it actually goes by the title "The ball at Kirrimuir"
I find that a bit worrying because I have ancestors from Kirrimuir. One of those ladies could be my umpteen times grandmother for all I know.
Mind you, being immortalised in a song is probably the nearest any of my family will get to being famous. ;-)

Trying so hard to suggest you refined ladies know none of the songs you have mentioned. :-D :-D

Now 1....2....3

Keep your mind on your driving
Keep your ???? on the road
And keep your beady eyes on the road ahead.

Lucky old Fred ;-)

Might be able to do you a CD if that´s any help.

It´s Menorca PH.
I´ll have to check with the Menorcan WI that they don´t have the copyright & you may find it´s sung in Spanish or Menorquine, but I´m sure the meaning won´t be lost in translation.
