Joy Kentish Maid Report 5 Mar 2013 21:44

I think I would not be 'appy, too; didn't look like a red card offence to me either.

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 5 Mar 2013 21:50

It did to me, it may not have been deliberate but it was definately a too high and dangerous boot. Referee made the right decision.

Joy Kentish Maid Report 5 Mar 2013 21:52

Well, I thought red but then the commentator said it wasn't so I was in two minds about it.

Palace 4 - 1 at the moment; unfortunately for us Watford won.

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 5 Mar 2013 21:56

I used to occasionally go and watch Watford play at Vicarage Road when I had nothing better to do. But most times I would be watching my beloved Arsenal :-D. my local team.

As you can see http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21583879 Watford are quite close, above us.

Ah well, another goal to Hull, but we still won 4 - 2 - Glad all over :-)

Wolves have won tonight :-0 :-0 :-0 :-D :-D

2-0 at the Den. First win for Dean Saunders and out of relegation zone (just).

Cardiff result (1-1 at home against Derby) very very disappointing. Malky must have banked on 3 points from this one.

Edit. Thought Nani was a sending off. But changed game completely and spoilt Giggsy's 1000the appearance.

Seen the controversy this morning about Nani. I still feel that to be going in at speed with your foot 5 feet in the air is possibly going to decapitate somebody. And, yes, I know overhead kicks are allowed but at least other players get a warning they are about to lose their head.

Kevin Phillips 40!!! What a brilliant player he has been. And Hull are flying at moment - but not last night against Eagles. :-) :-)

I immediately thought that by the letter of the law Nani's play could be considered dangerous...wasn't one bit surprised when the red card came out.

Also thought they were lucky not to be down to 9 men when a handball was commited in the box.

Having said that...apart from Rio Ferdinand clapping hard into the ref's face at full time...I thought Man U played well and fought on admirably against the odds ....

Noticed that Lampard and Terry have not had holidays on Roman's yacht last summer. Would not be surprised if Mourinho and family are invited a couple of times this year.

Jose looked so serious and sympathetic last night. United should have won etc. Yet I could hear him laughing on plane back as he passed over Valleys at 30,000 feet late last night :-) :-)

RolloTheRed

RolloTheRed Report 6 Mar 2013 13:08

Nani was an idiot, no sympathy.
"I didn't see 'im, ref, I was watching the ball. Honest".
Since when did premier league footballers have tunnel vision ?

Supposing ManU had been away to, say, Galatasaray and one of the reds had been on the receiving end of a high boot. What sort of rant do you think the English sport inkies would create? C'mon Fergie, grow up it's never too late.

Ooh to, ooh to be, ooh to be a- Gooner,
Ooh to, ooh to be, ooh to be a- Gooner,

stand up, for the arsenal
stand up, for the arsenal
stand up, for the arsenal..
stand up, for the arsenal!
