His qualifications don't stop him from taking a non academic job do they?

He seems to rule a very unruly roost with a seemingly brow beaten wife.
The children obviously had absolutely no interest in watching the wedding videos and were more intent with annoying each other. Meal times all eaten on laps amid all the clutter, I really don't think those children were particularly happy. They were definitely out of control in Ikea.

A huge contrast between the two families.

What I found strange was that he hired a skip, any clothes not wanted were bagged up and dumped in skip. Charity shops/car boot comes to mind.

If he wants more children why doesn 't he go and be a school teacher----------- enough kids there for him AND HE COULD PAY TAX :-D

This " I cant afford to work culture" is disgusting :-|

I used to know a family of 14 children and the father when you first spoke to him was a very mild mannered well spoken chap but did he think the world owed him a living, the council had to rehouse them in 2 houses adapted and joined together, the older children that worked actually managed to buy the house, during a convo one day it came out that one of the older children couldnt read or write and the look of self pity on the mans face when he told me the tale that it was because they had so many children it went unnoticed and my really was " but you carried on having more children" :-(

How sad for the children not to receive enough individual attention.

It really does seem sensible to have a cap on benefits that can be received.
The equivalent of forty hours work a week at the minimum wage or the "living wage" would seem equitable.
If you can't live on that then you have to grow up and make some lifestyle choices rather than expect the rest of Society to support your choice of lifestyle.

Absolutely Brian but who is going it be brave enough to suggest the reform and implement it?

Jean

Jean Report 7 Mar 2013 01:32

brian, a cap has to be put on a lot of benifits, and i think it will. 40 grand a year and all tax free, plus all the other freebies on offer. child allowance should only be payed for 2 children. it bugs me that i have to pay tax on the small pension i get.
