The stickied thread at the top of this board is asking for a vote on the occupation to be the subject of the next theme.

So far only two have voted even though more gave suggestions originally.

Bit annoying when one of the candidates, from a genealogical site is just 'Miners'.

I suppose we are meant to presume this means coal miners.

Surely GR should know, one shouldn't presume anything!!

On the Genes News, the latest entry is a link to a youtube video about the oldest family business, which is a butchers.

Thanks Ken I enjoyed watching the clip.
That butcher's shop is like the family butchers where I live,but think it's just 4 generations not back to Henry viii that's a long long way back :-0

Also liked the rural traditions vid. funny :-D
